I've just been reading anousheh ansari's's blog about her trip into space.  Anousheh is a succesful technologist and sponsor of the X Prize Foundation.

She's wonderful and inspirational - and she's posted snaps from her trip into space on Flickr for all to enjoy.

Between this and Richard Branson announcing his 3 Bln USD sponsorship to discover alternative fuels, it actually felt like a good week for our planet for a change.

We Are The Champions (League)

Oh, man, some good footy is, erm, afoot in Copenhagen.  FC København have made the Champions League by defeating Dutch powerhouse Ajax and we're going to the games at Parken, beginning tonight vs Benefica, then Celtic, then Manchester United!

I'm really excited to go to these games... we just don't get this level of quality football in the US.

the game ended 0-0, not the most watchable game, but still some decent football.  FCK really needs a few fast forwards ;).

Our friends Brett & Megan had a lovely baby daughter, Sofia, on Saturday September 2nd - Labor Day Weekend indeed!
