påske ferie i England (Easter holiday in England)

… and on a happier note : Got back from a nice, long weekend in England on Monday evening. 

My cousin Ken (OK, 2nd cousin, one removed) graciously put us up for a few days (thanks!).  On Friday we took an open-air bus tour to see the sights (which worked out great – Malcolm slept for two hours!) and on Saturday Ken and his family showed us around Windsor a bit.  We also got to see my Uncle Peter and Auntie Bette who had never met Malcolm.

On Sunday we met up w/some friends, went to LegoLand UK on Easter Sunday (iconoclasts!  we weren’t alone, I can tell you that) and then kicked around Egham/The Thames on Monday before returning home.  The weather was really nice Saturday and Sunday – definitely warmer than DK!

We had a great time, although I immediately caught a mild flu on our return .
