poor Malcolm had a very high fever on Sunday. He was up and down all day. We watched him closely but nothing dangerous, most medical books these days recommend that you let children ride out a fever unless it goes for too long or it is too high a temperature, so that’s what we did.
He had a classic sick day with chicken soup and a larger-than-normal dose of television which we let him have as he had little energy for anything else.
Sure enough on Monday he was almost-completelely back to normal. I heard him talking in his room around 5am Monday morning, a good sign! By the time I returned home on Monday he was active and chatty again!
